The events of the film unfold on the eve of a full-scale invasion. Kharkiv paramedic Nadiya anxiously follows the news, while her boyfriend Roman assures her that there will be no war and goes to rest in the Carpathians. Nadiya wakes up to the sounds of explosions on the morning of February 24. While the city is gripped by panic and some of her colleagues leave, the girl remains on the front lines of the medical front. Roman, having found himself in Poland, demands that Nadiya leave everything and come to him, but she chooses duty to her hometown. During another trip, fate brings her together with her childhood friend Pavlo, who has returned from abroad to save Ukrainians. Despite personal conflicts with the leadership and the danger, Nadiya and Pavlo become volunteers in a humanitarian mission to occupied Vovchansk. Having passed through enemy captivity, where Pavlo proposes to his beloved, they return home for an exchange. Their wedding awaits the main event – victory.
